IB ALUMNI STAND OUT IN HIGHER EDUCATION

IB education has a beneficial impact on future study

Many of us have long been convinced that an IB education has a beneficial impact on future study and it is good to see that the latest research from Asia confirms this belief. An extensive study of students at the University of Hong Kong has shown that IB students score consistently higher than their peers in a range of different twenty-first century skills. The margins are not great but the evidence is clear. IB alumni show critical thinking, creativity, communication, cultural sensitivity, time management, adaptability, leadership, persistence and global-mindedness to a greater extent than their non-IB colleagues. Further fresh research in the University of Melbourne backs up the conclusions of this study, presented by the Head of Research at the Regional Conference in The Hague 26-28.10.2017
