Class 14IB was sent off in style on Friday 1st September during a suitably formal yet intimate occasion, the annual IB graduation ceremony.
With every IB student in attendance and some 80 family members looking proudly on, the Head presented 23 diplomas and Marjut Sadeharju, the class teacher, handed over white caps, each one boosting a shiny golden IB logo. The coordinator David Crawford spoke of the significance of these three or four formative years of education whilst Tytti Rintamäki gave a moving tribute to her classmates. Jamin Hu dazzled us one last time with a beautiful piece of virtuoso piano music and the choir sang with gusto. In no time at all the moment passed and students wandered off to their own parties, taking their diplomas and our very best wishes for the future with them.
