Textbooks 2007 - 2008
In most subjects students are expected to buy their own textbooks. A list of required textbooks is given below. ”AICE” texts are only required reading for those opting to study those subjects for the Cambridge Diploma.Certain books may be available in major Finnish bookshops. Others must be ordered from England. This is the responsibility of each student as the school is not in a position to sell books to students. Certainly the cheapest and most efficient service is provided by www.amazon.co.uk , with payment possible by credit card or cheque.
Please try to ensure that you purchase appropriate texts for each year before the beginning of the school term. You should be aware that some books may take several weeks to arrive. As textbooks are changed from time to time it is sensible to buy books for the coming academic year only.
Although the initial outlay is substantial, your possession of these texts ought to be seen as an important "investment” in future academic performance. It may be possible to sell books second-hand to students who come after yourselves. Please take good care of your books.
